Abstract: This paper introduces the importance and current status of International Cultivar Registration of Horticultural Cultivars (ICR). It also discussed the signification and advantage of applying to International Cultivar Registration Authority ( ICRA.)for Osmanthus fragrans cultivars and how to investigate clearly the germ plasm resources of Osmanthus and cultivars of Osmanthus fragrans in the shorter time in order to apply to ICRA of Osmant hus fragrans cultivars successfully in the years to come.
