Abstract: The relationships of harmonious growth between transect parameters of twig(including different ages and types) and leaf-area on it in the same and different individual of same species,and different species were approached by aid of the multivariate statistical analysis.It was indicated that:the relationship of harmonious growth is more significant between twig transect area and the leaf-area than that between twig diameter and the leaf-area in same individual of all of three species sampled:Tilia amurensis,Syringa oblata and Sambucus williamsii.It is more significant in biennial twig than annual twig in these species.It is proved that: the relationship,generally in branch level,is present in a single individual and influenced by environment,it is quite different among individuals.In truck level,it is present in different individual inner-species and the difference is unapparent among different individuals.
