Abstract: Following the pest analysis norm of International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO),in this article the risk of Fusarium circinatum carried by wood and wooden packages has been assessed from the geographical and managerial standard,probability of establishment,spread potential,consequences of establishment and entry potential.The result demonstrates the risk of the importation into the China of F.circinatum with wood and wooden packages from quarantine area is very high.Consequently,it is necessary and urgent to take emergency measures to wood and wooden packages imported into China from quarantine areas,at the same time it is in accordance with the principle of SPS’ and international practice.
