Abstract: On the basis of investigations and researches on cultivars resources of sweet osman-thus in Sichuan Province during the last two years, 57 cultivars are recognized here, including 10 of Fragrans group, 22 of Latifolius group, 17 of Thunbergii group and 8 of Aurantia-cus group. Among them, such 10 of excellent cultivars are selected as ’Zishuijing’、’Cheng-huangsiji’、’Rixianggui’、’Yinbandanxin’、’Baihaorui’、’Jiulonggui’、’Jinbandanxin’、’ Wud-ie’、’Xifudan’and ’Yuyejinzhi’according to flower styles, flower colors, leaf styles, leaf colors and tree shape. Meanwhile, the preliminary research is carried out on the exploitation and application of sweet osmanthus in Sichuan Province, as well as the existed problems.
