Effects of Drought on Proline Content in Seedlings of Four Woody Species

摘要: <正>对尾叶桉二代种子园22、29个月生的32个家系进行性状分析与遗传评估。结果表明:尾叶桉树高、胸径和材积生长量在家系、区组间均存在极显著差异;保存率、干形、分枝及开花量在家系问存在显著差异;经性状综合评定认为,第21,11,1,26,27,40,18和10号家系是该种子园内综合表现最好的家系,测试结果可为二代种子园实施良种分类定向供种和问伐强度提供依据;在25%入选率条件下,种子园材积遗传增益为12.96%~13.67%。

Abstract: To investigate the differences of co-occurring woody species with different growth forms when subjected to soil drought, proline contents were assessed in four co-occurring seedlings of Quercus liaotungensis, Fraxinus rhynchophylla, Spiraea pubescens and Lepsedeza bicolor which were subjected to soil drying. The drought-induced increase in proline content was more in old leaves than in young leaves, and was more in roots than in stems and leaves. The proline contents were increased more in the first two species than in the last two ones. Based on the differences in both proline content and soil water content during soil drying, the drought resistance can be ranked as follows..Q, liaotungensis,F, rhynchophylla, S. pubescens,L, bicolor. The findings here suggest that growth form may be related partly to different responses to environmental stress.
