Abstract: The longterm plantation of pure caribbean pine forest in Hainan leads to decrease in productivity, biodiversity, forest stability and so on. Considering the current situations and problems, using the theory and method of closetonature forest management and thinking about the local actual situations, we set up the forest development types for caribbean pine forest. Through the corresponding management, we can fulfill the sustainable and multibenefit targets caribbean pine forest in Hainan.
