Abstract: The petrel 650B type light aircraft and appendix Hy－1 pneumatic atomizer were untilized to control Dendrotimus punctatus and Pantana phyllostachysae in the hills of forest in North Fujian Province. The airfield was a temporary and sample sand site. The GPS techniques were adapted in control the direction and location. The flying speed and height were 110～120km/h and 10～20m. The mixture of deltamethrin (30mL/hm2) and Beaurerin biological insecticide (7．5×1012～15×1012 spores/hm2) was sprayed. The airplane spray got an ideal control effect. The test explained that the petrel 650B type light aircraft was safe, agile, handly to use and low in cost. This plane is suitable to be applied in hills of forest pests control.
