Abstract: The software ANSYS with the finite element model of 3 -D and eight knots solid unit was used to analyze the effects of paving asphalt rubber stress-absorbing membrane interlayer on the pavement crack. It was seen that paving asphalt rubber stress-absorbing membrane interlayer could reduce the concentrating of the stress in the crack area of the asphalt membrane interlayer, increased the longevity of the pavement structure endurance and extended the longevity of the pavement. The appropriate range of the modulus and thickness of stress-absorbing membrane interlayer was analyzed. It was useful for the design of the asphalt rubber stress-absorbing membrane interlayer.
