Construction of Forest Resources Management Information System Based on 3S Technologies

Abstract

Combining forest resource surveying for planning and design, spatial database and attribute database of forest plots were established in county level. Based on commutative relationship between spatial data and attribute data, visual and multiple management information system was generated by means of modularization with input, searching, analysis, displaying and output integration. This information system can supply an aid-decision method in forest resources management and forest survey, planning and design.
