Changing retarders and their concentration during gypsum hydrating, observes the distinctness of gypsum crystal form by using SEM. The calcium of building gypsum during hydrating was analyzed by using atomic absorb spectrometry. By integrating the date of gypsum particleboard properties and SEM photograph, the relations could be set up about the course of gypsum hydrating and the properties of gypsum particleboard.
