Abstract

Nopol is synthesized by β-pinene and paraformaldehyde under microwave irradiation. The catalyst is solid superadd SO42--/ZrO2-TiO2. The influence of various reaction parameters, such as reaction temperature, time, the conditions for preparation of catalyst and catalyst content has been investigated. The results show that the proper technologic conditions are as follows: irradiation temperature is 110 "C, irradiation time is 2.5 h, microwave power is 600 W, the catalyst type is MTi:MZr=6:1, the calcinations temperature is 450℃ and solid superacid contem is 4%. In this condition the yield rate of nopol is 60.4%. Further more, the effects of storage time of the catalysts on the reaction and the regeneration experiments of catalysts are carried out.
