In this paper, Nanjing Muyan Riverside Park was selected as a research area, the planting design of urban wetland park from ihree aspects, i. e., the plant choice, planting design and the holistic planning and design were discussed. First, according to the plant ecology and. following the Principle of diversity and native plants, four different model of life-form was constructed to process planting disposition,. Second, according to landscape ecology and the differences of the role of plant landscape and constructing purpose, the landscape pattern and the scene district of plants were planned to construct the different wetland plant landscape. Third, according to " imitating nature" the Muyan Riverside Wetland Park plant landscape was constructed with regional feature from many aspects, e. g., space and space-time through artistic managetnent and artistic conception constructing.
