Newly recorded species of Orchidaceae from Hunan Province(Ⅲ)

Abstract

【Objective】 The objective of this study is to collect inventory information of Orchidaceae in Hunan Province for the wise management of wild Orchidaceae. 【Method】This article adopts the field investigation and specimen identification. 【Result】Six new records of Orchidaceae plants in Hunan Province were reported for the first time. There are six new orchid aceae species in Hunan Province: Gastrochilus nanus Z. H. Tsi, Liparis brunnea Ormerod, Liparis tsii H.Z. Tian & A.Q. Hu, Odontochilus nanlingensis (L. P. Siu & K. Y. Lang)ormerod, Tainia acuminata Aver. and Neottia nanchuanica (S. C. Chen) Szlach. All the type specimens are preserved in the Herbarium of Central South University of Technology and Forestry(CSFI) and the Herbarium of Hunan Normal University (HNNU). 【Conclusion】A total of 69 genera and 192 species of Orchidaceae plants in Hunan Province were updated.

Abstract
兰科植物是植物保育中的“旗舰”类群（flag group）。中国不是兰科植物种类最丰富的地区，但具有最复杂多样的地理分布类型以及众多的原始类群，因此，开展对中国兰科植物的研究和保育是世界兰科植物研究和保育工作中的重要组成部分。本文介绍了目前中国兰科植物研究和保育的现状，分析了与国际同类工作相比存在的差距，并对今后的发展方向提出了一些看法。
