Abstract

【Purpose】To screen for highly ornamental new varieties of wintersweet and provide excellent plant materials for enriching winter landscapes.【Method】Superior individual plants were selected through seedling selection and propagated by grafting.【Result】'Hongyun Changbei' is a new and superior wintersweet variety obtained through seedling selection. Its outer tepals reach 25mm in length, the flower height is up to 24mm, and the base of the inner tepals shows a slight pinkish tint.【Conclusion】'Hongyun Changbei' is a stable and distinctive new wintersweet variety with excellent traits.
