Dynamic mechanical properties of surrounding rock in the circumstance of chemical corrosion

Abstract: Based on the characteristics of multi-field coupling of deep underground engineering, the chemical solutions with different ions, different pH were prepared. Three kinds of rock samples of gray limestone, siltstone and reddish limestone were taken from the project site. The specimens were maintained in the solution, and then the dynamic compression experiment were conducted by SHPB, analyzing the chemical corrosion. Chemical corrosion-temperature coupling and chemical corrosion-damage coupling effect on the dynamic properties and theirs mechanism. The results showed that the dynamic strength of surrounding rock decreased after maintanined in chemical solution, the strength of gray limestone, reddish limestone and siltstone decreased by 25.8%, 54% and 79.5%, and with acidity of solution increasing, the chemical corrosion-damage coupling and the chemical corrosion-temperature coupling existing, the strength decreased very obviously.
