Abstract: The biomass data of Cunninghamia lanceolata was based on the investigation of sample plots and biomass of sample trees in Jiangle District of Fujian Province. The regularity of dynamic change of the biomass proportion of each component(branch, foliage, stem, root, crown, and aboveground part of C. lanceolata)alone with age was analyzed. In order to eliminate the incompatibility of biomass model,we established biomass evaluation models for each component, and the compatible biomass models were deduced by algebraic relation among the components of single tree biomass using stem biomass as the controlled variable. After model testing we found that the branch modle had a poor performance,so we chosed the compatibility of proportional distribution model establishment method to build the model of foliage and branches. The total relative error, the average relative error, average relative error absolute value and precision were used to evaluate the efficacy of the compatibility model. Results showed that the suitable compatible biomass model reflected the distribution relationship of biomasses among various components completely and objectively, and also improved the estimation precision of biomass to some extent.
