Abstract
An activated carbon for refinement of injection was prepared from hydrolysis lignin by a chemical method(ZnCl2 as activator). The effects of the ligninliquid ratio, activation temperature and time on the yield, quinine sulfate adsorption and methylene blue adsorption of the activated carbon were researched. The suitable technological conditions were determined: activation temperature 550 ℃,activation time 2 h,ligninliquid ratio 1∶3.5,ZnCl2 concentration 46°Be′(60 ℃).The yield of activated carbon produced on the above conditions was 50.28%.The properties of the obtained activated carbon were investigated. The results are quinine sulfate adsorption≥120 mg/g,methylene blue adsorption 180 mg/g ,pH 6.5,Fe 0.01%,Cl- 0.05%,SO2-4 0.05%,ash 2.63%,acidsoluble substance 0.6%,zine salt 0.003%,and sulfide, heavy metals, cyanide, uncarbonized constituent are all qualified.
