Abstract: Some electroconductive element such as Cu, Ni powder and graphite powder(CP) were added to ureaformaldehyde(UF) resin to make 3layers Larix composite plywood with electromagnetic shielding effectiveness (SE). The effects of different electroconductively elements and resin spreading quantity on electromagnetic shield effectiveness and bond strength of Larix composite plywood was investigated. The results showed that all the bond strength (ST) could meet or exceed the national standard. The SE was 0.00 dB with Cu, the SE was 0.00~10.10 dB with Ni and the SE was 528~13.13 dB with CP. All the models of SE and ST were significant. Spreading the electroconductively element could increase the electroconductive network. On the other hand, it had the adverse effect on ST, then it led to the negative effect on electroconductivity of plywood. Hence, the combined influence of these two parts led to the SE.
