FRP/MDF mechanical properties of composite forecast and analysis

Abstract: f Wood Science and Decoration Engineering, Southwest Foresty College, Kunming 650224, China) Abstract: The classical theory of composite materials is used to predict the effective bending elasticity modulus of(MOE)of GFRP/MDF composite, and the test value was compared with the predicted one. The results showed that FRP/MDF composite and medium density fiberboard were supposed to be applicable to the formula model of the Bending elastic modulus calculation. Errors between theoretical values and experimental values are 11.12 %, 5.75 %, and the test values of the bending elastic modulus is very close to the predicted one obtained from the revised formula.
