Abstract: Effects of preheating at different temperatures and for different times on me drying rate and quality of Pinus massoniana Lamb, boards were investigated in the superheated vapor drying. Based on these investigations, reasonable preheating condi: tions have been suggested for the superheated vapor drying of Pinus massoniana Lamb. boards.
