Abstract: Determination of microelements in the wood by atomic absorption spectroscopy has the adventages of being covenient, quick, accurate, sensitive, etc. By using this method, quantitative determinations of copper, iron, calcium, magnesum, and zinc in euphrates poplar (Populus suphratica Oliv.) have been made and desirable results have been obtained with precision and accuracy.
