Abstract: This paper gives a review of recent researches on isozyme analysis applied in genetic breeding of forest trees, in which following aspects can be of concern: differentiation of clones; identification of hybrids; early prediction of hybrid vigor; sex differentiation of forest trees; genetic analysis of progenies of controlled hybrid or sely-bred and genetic variation in wood population and seed orchard.
