Abstract: Pollen grains of six species of Magnolia were examined under scanning electron microscope. Their ultramiero structure was clearly seen in three dimensions. It is advisable that by means of a scanning electron microscope taxonomical accuracy of higher plants be promoted with the help of pollen morphology.
