A STUDY OF SINGLE-STEP HOT-PRESSING TECHNOLOGY OF ORIENTED STRAND COMPOSITE PLYWOOD

Abstract: This paper mainly deals with the relationship between the hot-pressing technics of oriented strand composite plywood (OSCP) made of Italian fast-growing poplar, and its mechanical properties and density gradient by means of the rotary design of quadratic regression, so that the best hot-pressing characters requirements can be met in a laboratory. The relationship between the density gradient and the strength of OSCP, and the structure of OSCP are also discussed.
