Abstract: The author gave Trametes trogii Berk, an isolation, morphological observation and decay test. The result shows that Trametes trogii grew up on the 95% of the tissue with the inside wood isolated. On the other hand, the bacteria of the different colonies came out from most tissue of the surface of wood and basidiocarp isolated, only 11 % and 17% of the tissue among them getting purely isolated respectively. The Trametes trogii could easily bring forth fruiting bodies and basidiospores on the medium. By observing the microscope, the hyphae in tne wood were thicker than those on the medium. About 3 months’ test, the author has found that the average of the decay rate about the Trametes trogii aginst the poplar wood is 79%.
