Abstract: A study was made on bud-grafting with Prunus persica(L.)as stocks and P.persica var.atropurpurea schneid schneid and var.densa Makino as scions in late July,The stock parts above the scions were cut-off 5,10 and 15 days after grafting respectively. The results obtained indicate that P.persica var.atropurpurea Schneid with removal of upper stocks grafted after 15 days and P.persica var.densa with that after 5 days were most desirable.97.0%-98.6% survival and 91.4%-92.0% became young plants with vigorous shoots respectively.
