Abstract: A preliminary study was made on Ginkgo biloba pollens, including general property (stacked density, pollen numbers per gram, average diameter) and chemical components (sporopollenin, flavomoid and composition of fatty acids). The results showed that the content of general flavonoid glycoside was 0.95% in pollens, the main flavonoid aglycone was kaempferol. The composition of fatty acids was 160(217%),180(75%),180(27.7%),182(6.0%) and 183(16.2%). The content of sporopollenin, main component of pollenwall, was about 15%.
