Abstract: Observations were made on the development of cambium of Cunninghamia lanceolata. The results are as follows:(1) All cells of procambium and peridem are differentiated from the tissue of the apical meristem of Cunninghamia lanceolata. (2) In the zone of primary meristem, procambium shows that bundles develop with differentiating. (3) differentiation of primary xylem is later than that of primary phloem.(4) In C.laneolata, cambial activity begins in early March, most of meristem is in later of April.
