Abstract: Lycoris radiata is an important ornamental plant in autumn and winter, but its natural propagation coefficient is low. In order to study the effects of the ways of the artificial propagation, the plant growth regulators and the consistence of the plant growth regulators on the quantity and the quality of bulb scales of L. radiata, an experiment of the artificial propagation, was arranged, based on randomized blocks design. The results were as follows=(1)Compared with natural propagation coefficient of L. radiata scale bulblet, the artificial propagation coefficient was much higher. By fractional scale-stem cutting, more but the smallest scale bulblets could be obtained from one bulb. By notching, the least but biggest bulblets could be got. By scoring and boring, more and bigger scale bulblets could be attained. (2)ASL and IBAq-NAA had the best effect on increasing the quantity of bulblets;GAa and 2,4-D in hibited the quantity of bulblets. (3)The effect of consistence of ASL+IBA+NAA on the quantity of bulblets showed that high consistence could inhibit the quantity of bulblets and low consistence could increase the quantity of bulblets.
