Abstract: During 2000~2002, the fertilizations tests, including three kinds of fertilizations(urea, super phosphate, potassium chloride) to young plantation of Sequoia sempervirens in Pingbian,Yunnan province were conducted. The tests include eight treatments and three replicates. The results revealed that fertilizations could increase the biomass of different components of the tree, especially the proportioned application of super phosphate and potassium chloride(the seventh treatment) could increase the amount of leaf and root as well as the total biomass of the three remarkably. Fertilizations could also increase the P content and storage in leaf and root. And leaf and root is the major P pool of S. sempervirens.
