Abstract: The contents and translocation features of foliar nutrients(N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu)in three density Pinus massoniana plantations were studied. The results showed that the content of Ca tended to increase with densities before leaf withering, and the other elements didn’t show obvious tendency. The content of Mn in leaf litters showed an increased tendency with densities, and the other elements didn’t show obvious tendency. The translocations of N, P, K, Mg had happened at various levels during leaf withering, and the other elements hadn’t. Fe transferred ratio decreased with densities, but Ca and Mg were on the opposite. The transferred ratio of N, P, K, Mn, Zn and Cu didn’t showed any obvious tendency varied with density.
