Estimation for tridimensional green biomass based on TM remote sensing image

Abstract

Badaling Forest Farm of Beijing was taken as the research object, and the thematic mapper(TM)imagery was taken as a data source and ground plot survey data. Sub-species regression model of tridimensional green biomass(TGB)was established by using multivariate linear regression method,which based on forest vegetation classification of Badaling Forest Farm. Estimation model for the evaluation and accuracy validation, the coefficient of determination broadleaf forest, coniferous forest, mixed forest model of TGB were 0.858,0.756,0.759 and the overall accuracy of TGB in Badaling Forest Farm was 85.63%.Using model inversion TGB of Badaling Forest Farm, the total of TGB are 14 986 350 m3, and comparison of measured TGB by forest resource inventory data,the measurement accuracy is 90.89%.
