Abstract: Based on collected data, this paper deals with a preliminary analysis about information of the situations, time and frequency of the floods in different history times, forest resources and soil erosion. At present, the more frequently the flood occur red, the more dangerous disasters happened. The main causes were the decrease of forest coverage rate and degradation of forest quality, leading to the decline of water retaining and mitigating ability of forest. In the mean time, the lake functions on water retain and runoff mitigation declined due to severe water and soil loss and accumulated sediment. Some strategics are proposed in the paper to restore and develop forest vegetation in this area.
