Abstract: In order to investigate the effects of fertilization on pulpwood quality of Eucalyptus urophylla clones.Wood samples of 6.5 years old E.urophylla clones tree were collected from five plots with different fertilization treatments in Kaiping city,Guangdong province. This paper deals with volume per individual, gravity and fiber formation of E.urophylla wood from plantation. The results are as follows:(1)Fertilization treatments significantly promote the growth of E.urophylla clones.(2)There are no significant effects on average gravity with the different treatments.(3)Fertilization treatments have not obvious effects on fiber length, whereas having a significant effect on fiber width by increase. However, the increasing tendency of fiber width can not be attributed to the increased fertilization. (4)The wood of E.urophylla clones with a short-term is a good and advanced source of pulping material.
