Abstract: Based on the different levels of basal manure(800 g per plant, 1 200 g per plant, 1 600 g per plant, 2 000 g per plant, 2 200 g per plant), the effects of basal manure on growth, leaf mineral elements and chlorophyll contents in Acacia crassicarpa were studied. The results showed that the 1 600 g per plant treatment was most effective. With this treatment, the growth and leaf mineral elements and chlorophyll contents of A. crassicarpa all increased more greatly compared with the other treatments, and the analysis of variance shows that the differences between this treatment and others were significant.
