Identified as Ophiostoma ips, Ophiostoma lignicola, Sphaeropsis salicicola, Dothiorella gregaria, Hap losporella minor, Trichoderma koningii, Penicillium verruculosum., Cephalosporium zonatum, Chaetomium globosum and Aspergillus sp.. There are many perithecia of Ophiostoma spp. in longhorn tunnel and pupa cell, and close relationship between Ophiostoma spp. and B. xylophilus. A very serious pine wood stain was caused by Sphaeropsis salicicola, Dothiorella gregaria and Haplosporella minor.
