Abstract: The GPS-RTK surveying systems with different data chain transmission were intro- duced. The performance of system configuration, position precision, operation radius, com- munication way, external support and cost were analyzed respectively. It was proved that surveying systems with different performance-cost ratios should be used based on the demand of projects, the local situation and economic factors in fast positioning surveying.
