Study on Integrated Management of Shoot Dieback of Pine

Abstract

Shoot dieback of pine damaged more than 20 pines, such as Pinus elliottii, Pinus taeda. To control its damage, tests for controlling shoot diehack of pine were in diseased 14~23 a seed orchard, trial forest, lumber forest of Nayu forest farm in Minhou county by applying fertilizer, pesticide and integrated management. The results showed that root application or spraying B fertilizer, root application or spraying carebendazin, spraying chlorlthalonil and applying carebendazin smoke had certain control effects. The control effect of spraying B fertilizer, chlorlthalonil and applying smoke reached 67.5%. 69.70/oo and 66.1% respectively. Integrated management had better control effects which reached 69.5%~ 81.5%, especially the integrated management by clearing the disease shoot, root application of B fertilizer and carebendazin had control effect reaching 81.5%.
