Abstract: The suspension of Ralstonia solanacearum was treated by High Voltage Electrostatic Field (HVEF) and Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Field (RFEF) respectively. The number of bacteria after treatment was counted by plating. Results showed that the total number of bacteria increased after they were treated by HVEF for 20 min. It was decreased by 84% when the treat time extended to 40 min. The total number of bacteria was decreased by 84% and 95% respectively after they were treated by RFEF for 20 min and 40 min. The activity of peroxidase was increased by 70% for Eucalyptus after it was treated by HVEF and inoculated by the bacteria suspension. It was found that both HVEF and RFEF had obvious inhibition effects on the reproduction of bacteria. Meanwhile, HVEF increased the activity of peroxidase of Eucalyptus.
