Abstract: Twelve protein spots were randomly selected from poplar leaf protein profiles of twodimension gel electrophoresis. By ESIMSMS analysis, the results showed that they represented five different proteins, including RuBisCO, Glycinerich RNAbinding protein, alphatubulin, chloroplast phosphoglycerate kinase and phytochrome B2. This study would lay the foundation for analysis of the whole proteome of poplar leaf and for the other biological research.
