Abstract: By using the species area curves and the stand spatial structure parameters(mingling, neighborhood comparison, and uniform angle index)area diagram analysis method along with increasing the area and calculating the species diversity index and the stand spatial structure parameters, the minimum sampling area of the spatial and none-spatial structure of the evergreen deciduous broadleaf forest was studied. The results showed that the minimum sampling area of the none-spatial structure was 3 720 m2 by using species area curves, while the minimum sampling area of the spatial structure was 3 600 m2 by using the stand spatial structure parameters area analysis. Uniformity was found between the minimum sampling area of the spatial and none-spatial structure of the community. Thus it’s feasible that using the data of the same size of the plot to analyse the spatial and none-spatial structure of the community. The results indicated that the minimum sampling area of the spatial and none-spatial structure of the community is 3 600-3 700 m2.
