Abstract: The writer has made isolations of a species of Colletotrichum from the macroscopically healthy leaves of Robinia pseudoacacia and Eucalyptus robusta. It hasbeen identified as strains of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides Penz., i.e., thechrojnogenie form of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides in literatures. A brief discussionon the studies of biology, morphology, and taxonomy of these strains is presented. These strains occasionally existed only in conidial forms. Spindal form spores were formed on conidial mass, while elliptical spores were produced on mycelia, and with dimorphism. The PSA ;medium employed in the tests yield colonies was red in color. Artificial inoculation to Camellia sinensis produced ascogenous stage on the host’s leaves. The morphologic characters of these isolations closely resemble those of the rhodo-form of Glomerella cingulata (Stonem.) S. et S.
