Abstract: Korean pine timber samples were elected as experimental materials. Laboratory experiments were conducted to obtain stress wave speed, micro-drilling resistance, moisture content, as well as bending stiffness and strength for, exploring non-destructive testing methods of detecting the main mechanical properties. The pine performance computing model for the future on-site rapid test and evaluation were established at the mean time. After comparing with any single non-destructive testing method(stress wave detection, micro-drilling resistance tests), the modulus of stress-resistograph testing method had higher accuracy. Analysis indicated the modulus of stress-resistograph in the linear regression relationships with the modulus of elasticity(MOE), modulus of rupture(MOR), and the coefficient of determination were 0.826, 0.724, respectively.
