Abstract

In this paper, the method of image fusion was used to enhance the application of forest resources monitoring with the ZY-1-02C satellite data. After registration and correction of the multispectral and panchromatic images of Zhejiang Longquan District, seven fusion methods were used including Brovey, Gram-Schmidt, HPF, HSV, IHS, principle component and wavelet transform. By qualitative and quantitative analysis of singular value decomposition(SVD), HSV,IHS and HPF transform are better than other ways. Through the accuracy assessment methods of classification to further validate HPF transform is better and so is the maximum likelihood classification. The studies to explore the use of ZY-1-02C satellite data in the application of forest resources monitoring has the positive significance, also can further improve the efficiency of the satellite data processing, so as to provide basis and reference.
