Abstract: The adsorption characteristics of flavonoids from Rosa roxburghii Tratt.(FRR)was investigated using eight kinds of macroporous resin, and the antioxidant activity of flavonids before and after refining was examined using rutin as the control in the research. The results showed that AB-8 macroporous resin was the best resin for FRR refining. After refining, the contents of FRR reached more than 37.24%, was the 4.4 times than before. The antioxidant activity data showed the antioxidant activity of FRR were linear with its mass concentration, and the antioxidant activitiy of FRR after refining was higher than FRR before refining. Flavonoids from FRR had strong antioxidant activities and could be used in healthy food, cosmetic and medicine.
