Abstract:

【Objective】 A comprehensive evaluation of the suitability of rest and recuperation sites in Guizhou Yushe National Forest Park was carried out from a macro perspective, and the resource potential for developing wellness tourism was analyzed.【Method】According to the research on macro environment, two factors—forest resource conservation value and available conditions for the construction of rest and recuperation sites—were selected as the evaluation index system for the suitability of rest and recuperation sites at the project level. The analytic hierarchy process was used to determine the weight of indicators, and the scoring criteria were determined based on industry standards. A comprehensive calculation model of the suitability of rest and recuperation sites was established, and the grade standards were divided. The suitability of rest and recuperation sites in Yushe National Forest Park was comprehensively evaluated.【Result】In the suitability evaluation system of rest and recuperation sites in Yushe National Forest Park, the project level evaluation score was found to be consistent with the order of the weight value score. The total evaluation score of rest and recuperation site construction was 85.228 6, which is at the fourth level of the wellness tourism development. The score indicates high suitability for rest and recuperation site construction, but there are also unfavorable indicators such as undeveloped resources and inadequate support facilities.【Conclusion】Yushe National Forest Park has a high value for wellness tourism development, which can improve internal facilities through the construction of rest and recuperation sites, and comprehensively utilize forest resources by taking into account ecological, economic and social benefits.
