This paper deals with the processing of rosin amine and the equipment needed for the experiment on an enlarged scale, as well as the reaction mechanism involved. The processing conditions have also been investigated. A comparison between the methods of hydrogenation by still process and by recycling the hydrogen bubbles through a tubular hydrcgenator has been made; It shows that the latter gives a higher absorption rate of hydrogenation and a greater productivity.
