Abstract

This paper presents the tensor equations of stress and strain and displacement in the mature xylem and new growth increment of the cylindrical trunk. We derive the relations of stress and strain and displacement by means of tensor analysis in cylindrical coordinates, Which are represented by the physical components. And some solutions to the equations are studied.
