Abstract:

【Objective】Territorial spatial planning is crucial for building ecological civilization, with ecological space optimization and zoning management serving as the foundation for effective planning.【Method】The study area was Jintan District in Changzhou City. First, we evaluated ecological service values and calculated the ecological service supply-demand ratio. We then assessed the ecological supply-demand coordination degree using an improved potential model to determine ecological supply accessibility. Next, we superimposed the ecological service supply-demand ratio and coordination degree to identify ecological optimization zones. Scenario simulations were conducted with the PLUS model, and control strategies were proposed based on the differences in ecological supply capacity responses between the scenarios.【Result】The study area showed significant spatial variation in ecological supply and demand coupling. We identified four types of ecological optimization zones: supply and demand coordination protection zone (47.3%), supply and demand matching conservation zone (18.8%), supply and demand antagonism cultivation zone (23.1%), and supply and demand loss and gain compensation zone (10.8%). The focus of supply and demand control should be: continuing to protect and enhance ecological service supply capacity, maintaining the coordination of supply and demand quality; protecting and cultivating regional ecological service supply capacity, and improving supply and demand coordination; significantly increasing the quality and quantity of regional ecological supply; and strictly prohibiting ecological occupation and destruction. The supply and demand control scenario improved ecological service supply capacity by 15.6% compared with the natural development scenario.【Conclusion】Ecological optimization zoning based on spatial coupling of supply and demand accessibility effectively addresses regional ecological supply and demand differentiation and prioritizes control implementation.
