Abstract: Five different types of plantations were studied from Puding county of Guizhou province in Karst mountainous site. The contents of six soil microelements(Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Mo and Co)were analyzed by the equipment ICP-MS. In the meantime their relationships with soil organic matter and pH value were analyzed by the correlation analysis method. The results indicated that:(1)The highest and lowest contents of soil microelements were Fe and Mo respectively. The contents of soil available microelements showed surface accumulation effect.(2)There existed the regularities of Cu>Zn>Mo>Mn>Fe>Co rate of available to total contents and Cupressus duclouxiana stand > Robinia pseudoacacia stand > Eucommia ulmoides stand > Prunus salicina stand > Alnus cremastogyne stand for comprehensive microelement availability index in different types of plantations.(3)There was a significant negative correlation(p<0.05)between the contents of soil organic matter and Zn availabilities, but a positive correlation between the contents of soil organic matter and Fe, Mn, Cu, Co, and Mo availabilities. Soil pH value was highly and negatively correlated(p<0.05)with the contents of available Fe and Mo, negatively correlated with available Cu, Mn and Co contents, and positively correlated with available Zn contents.
